The Alaska Center for Appropriate Technology (ACAT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation chartered in 1993 to promote sustainable economic development in Alaska. ACAT is committed to promoting technological advances that can provide both rural and urban communities with diverse, sustainable economies to support future generations.
